A rural immune health innovation
Some props to the company that helps make this blog possible. Embria Health Sciences, producer of the 
immune balance ingredient EpiCor, has joined forces with a national rural health project called Nourish America and a women’s legislative forum to provide free EpiCor supplements to senior residents in rural locales. Last week, this coalition gave away 5-month supplies of EpiCor to 2000 seniors and their familiesin Shenandoah, Iowa. They also delivered 10,000 bottles to rural Idaho locations, too.
This is way cool. Seniors, simply due to age, have immune systems that are more vulnerable than younger adults. And in rural locations, access to supplement retailers is not always available. Embria will be checking in with program participants from time to time to see how they’re doing during the upcoming winter months when cold and flu run rampant.
